  • I really enjoyed my first visit to Contempo Salon and I will definitely be returning. Dwayne greeted me at the door and offered water or a glass of wine. He settled me in his chair and proceeded to ask me questions regarding my expectations and goals for my hair. More importantly, he listened and offered options to make the most of my hair. I was very pleased with the results, and Dwayne's lovely wife, Cecile graciously held an umbrella over my head as I departed in the rain. Thoughtful customer service!

  • Wow, what a great salon. Dwayne was exceptional...he explained my entire process in full detail and my color never looked so good! His wife and him run the salon together and both have really welcoming energy. I love my hair cut too. Next week im coming in my eyebrows waxed. If youre in the area or stsying for a visit, give this place a try, you won tbe disappointed 😁 thank you Dwayne.

  • I've finally found a place where a man can have his haircut and styled by an expert who takes his time and is able and willing to listen to you and take the time to get it right. Both Dwayne and his wonderful wife Cecile make you feel right at home the very first time you walk in the door. You can't go wrong by giving Contempo Hair Salon a try. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

  • Alexis did an awesome job on my hair!!! I had a keratin treatment and a hair cut done and she took her time to make sure she did everything perfect. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was completely satisfied with her work! I would totally recommend Alexis!

  • I absolutely love my hair! I've done hair cuts, highlights and lowlights, but I've never been happier with how my hair looks now. I recently had my nails done by Pam and let me just say people come up to me asking where I get them done all the time. My nails are so pretty as is my hair. Everyone at Contempo makes you feel like family. They're a great bunch of talented people.

From my first visit with an absolutely stunning hair cut and style by Dwayne and his exceptionally friendly staff to my most recent second visit of a hair color that is perfect . He took the time to listen to my wants and then implemented his skill!! His expertise and skill have proven to be remarkable.   • Had my first appointment at Contempo Salon yesterday and I'm very happy I chose Dwayne and his salon. I'm new to the area and had to find a place for cut and color online, quite a scary experience. Once I met Dwayne and Cecile I wasn't afraid anymore! Dwayne knew just what to do to make my hair look its absolute best! He has so much experience and obvious love for his work. I recommend him highly.

  • Yesterday was my first experience with Contempo Salon, and I must say I loved it. I needed a new color and Dwayne gave me the color I wanted. It is very far and in between that you find a salon with a person who takes pride in what he does. Dwayne took the time to go over what I liked and didn't like and when he said he would trim my hair, that is exactly what he did. Not like some other salons who start out with a trim and before you know it, you have short hair.... I also met his wife Cecile who gave me a tour of the salon. All in all it was a great experience and I will be going back... :)

  • I was looking for a different hair style, and I found Contempo Salon Day Spa online. I scheduled a hair cut with Dwayne. He listened to me and what I wanted changed and I was very happy with my new hair cut. Next, I scheduled hair color with low lights. I was a bit nervous, but the color is just beautiful and the low lights give my hair needed dimension. The color that Dwayne used left my hair very soft and silky. I was truly impressed with the results. The other members of the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is calming and relaxing. Dwayne and his staff exceeded my expectations. I recommend Contempo Salon Day Spa without reservation. Best of all, I love the way my hair looks again.

  • Love the place, the canal, the antique chair in one corner, the emerald green head in another (the one that gets dressed up for the holidays) and especially the ceramic floor in the back room. Love the people. Love what Julie and Dwayne do to my hair and Ceil does to my eyebrows. That said, I have never really enjoyed going to salons. It has been difficult to find someone who knew what a trim actually was or who could shape my hair for the wash n' go styling I prefer. Dwayne has not only the years of experience under his belt, but also a broad understanding of the art as a stylist, instructor and business owner. I found him 2-1/2 years ago. No one else has ever touched my hair as many times as he has, lol.

  • Contempo Salon and Day Spa is so Awesome. The service is friendly, fun, and professional! Dwyane is "THE MAN"! Whether a cut, flat iron, curl, or color he does it all and with state of the art trending products. I have had it all. If I am looking for a change, something professional or even just bold and funky he will make that look become a reality. Cecile and her calm and serene personality makes for the best facials anyone could have. I have always suffered with poor skin and within one week Cecile changed that forever. I now have glowing beautiful skin. I can not recommend them enough! Loyal customer!!!!!

  • I've been to Contempo three times in as many months. Cecile does a phenomenal job on my eyebrows, she is truly gifted. Julie, the lead stylist's assistant, does a killer color job & always provides good conversation. The owner/lead stylist, Dwayne is pleasant and always offers me a glass of wine. Need I say more? It is a bit out of the way but, is worth every mile!

  • Contemp salon has a great atmosphere! All the staff there made me feel comfortable and relaxed.! Dwayne was my stylist and he created my hair color and hilites and did an exceptional job with my hair cut also. I was impressed with his ability to listen and carry out exactly how I wanted my hair to look!! His assistant, Julie also did a great job and made me feel right at home!

  • I LOVE Contempo! I became their client a year and a half ago after moving to Hernando Beach from NJ. Dwayne developed the perfect color formula for me. I receive great comments on the color and the shine for weeks after getting it colored. And the cut? WOW! perfect for my face. All the staff are warm and friendly. I recommend Contempo to anyone looking for great service and a relaxing atmosphere.

  • I think that everyone I have worked on while here at Contempo has enjoyed their services! They are offered a drink first thing, then when I do manicures or pedicures they have an amazing view of the water and we have even had the luxury of seeing a few dolphins out here at play!
